This very nice 142 acre tract in Northern West Virginia has good access and is rolling hills, not steep. This tract is located about 40 minutes from Spencer and just under an hour from Parkersburg. This property was select cut around 2005 and this has opened the property up to have excellent views across the hardwood ridges. Plenty of old logging roads are in existence to provide good access for setup and retrieval. Minimal road clearing will be needed to get a Side by Side just about anywhere on this property. Plenty of oaks, mainly white, spread across the ridges. This is sure to be a draw when mast is dropping. I found plenty of sign during my walk including old rubs, scrapes, fresh trails, and tracks even though it had recently come a flood. Landowner frequently sees deer and turkey on the cameras around the cabin. (Across the road from the lease.) This is a very rural area. Only a few dwellings on the road to this tract. Camping is acceptable for hunting purposes only. Clear location with landowner.
